What you will own
- Mount devices, pull and terminate CAT6, dress racks and connect PoE equipment.
- Install EM locks and exit switches, then test continuity, links and basic device functions.
- Configure basic camera, NVR and access-controller functions and escalate design or power issues.
- Teach helpers, maintain tools and leave every work area safe, orderly and documented.
What will help you succeed
- 2–4 years of CCTV, access-control or network-installation experience.
- Confident using installation and test tools, reading basic drawings and following approved methods.
- A strong safety mindset, finish quality and ability to coach a site helper.
What good looks like
First-pass workmanship, clearly labelled terminations and a site checklist that is complete, safe and ready for commissioning.
